Sunday 29th November: VM-Variety.
The JCR’s annual showcase of entertainment, takes place on Sunday, November 29, in the Ann Dobson Hall. The show starts at 8 p.m. but you are invited to come to the Prowse Room from 7.30 p.m. for a pre-show reception. Tickets are usually in the region of £4 – £5 (sometimes a donation to something like JCR Outreach Projects is requested instead) – to be collected on the night. Monday 30th November: Private evening visit to view the Antarctica Exhibition.
18:30, Palace Green Library. The cost per ticket is £10 which includes a talk from a member of the Library Team, private entry into the exhibition along with a drinks reception at the end of the visit. If you would like to reserve a place please RSVP to [email protected] by Sunday 22nd November.
Saturday 12th December: SCR Children’s Christmas Party.
The annual SCR Children’s Christmas Party will take place in the Ann Dobson Hall in Van Mildert College on the afternoon of Saturday, 12 December. Any member of College staff or SCR/MCR is welcome to bring along their children or grandchildren (8 years or under) and join in the fun! The party will start at 2.15 pm, games and activities will be provided by the JCR, there will be live music kindly provided by Kenneth Howe, SCR member, there will be a party tea for the children and tea and coffee will be available for the adults. Santa Claus himself will be arriving before the end of the party!
