What is the SCR?
What is the SCR?
The Senior Common Room (SCR) is an association of academic and non-academic members of University staff,
College Officers, visiting fellows, College Mentors (who provide pastoral support to undergraduate students) and individuals from the wider, local community who support the work of the College.
The aim of the SCR is to contribute to the cultural and intellectual life of the College through its own activities and the support that it gives to the two other College Common Rooms. Members of the Middle Common Room are also members of the SCR.
Individuals are invited to join the SCR and all College Mentors are expected to be a member. Membership fees are paid on annual basis.
