We have two further events coming up in due course – see below!
St Patrick’s Day Formal
The next, and final, formal of term is happening on Thursday 16th March 2023. There will be a shot of Baileys provided for everyone, and for the meal you can either purchase a half bottle wine or you can choose to purchase and bring in two pints of Guinness. The dress code is formal, but you’re encouraged to add a splash of green!

Finchale Camino walk
Members of the SCR are also invited to join with Friends of Finchale Camino on the annual pilgrimage from Finchale Priory to Durham Cathedral on Saturday 18th March 2023.
The length of the walk is about 4 miles (6.7 km).
Transport to Finchale Priory for walkers is provided from Durham County Hall (DH1 5UL), where you will be able to park for free but pre-booking for the bus is essential.You will need to book a ticket through Eventbrite.

Though the event is free there will be a charge for those of you who want to travel on the bus. Cost per person £4. Cash only, correct change please. We will be gathering at County Hall to get the bus which leaves at 12:30.
The walk from Finchale Priory will leave at about 1:00 – 1:15 if you would prefer to meet there rather than at County Hall. There will be a procession from the market place at 3.30 p.m. and an opportunity to join a service at the cathedral at 4 p.m.
