Thursday 17th NovemberVan Mildert College Trust Annual Lecture.
The Right Honourable Lord Malloch-Brown will be presenting the 2016 Van Mildert College Trust Annual Lecture, entitled “Small World, Big Problems: Why we need multilateralism more than ever”.
The public lecture is free to attend and will take place in the Ann Dobson Hall, Van Mildert College on Thursday 17 November at 5.30pm.

Sunday 20th November at Van Mildert College: VM Variety.
The first Van Mildert JCR musical show of the academic year is VM Variety – a cabaret of various songs and dances – on Sunday 20th November in the Ann Dobson Hall, Van Mildert College. We will be hosting a pre-show drinks reception for SCR members in the Prowse Room from 6:45pm before the performance starts at 7:30pm. If you would like to attend, please contact [email protected] so that enough seats can be reserved from the JCR. Tickets for VM Variety will cost £3 each.

Tuesday 22nd November at St Aidan’s College: Language Encounter.
Aidan’s is hosting an evening for native and non-native speakers of RUSSIAN, SPANISH, FRENCH, GERMAN and ITALIAN from 6pm – 8.30pm in the Lindisfarne Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to practise your language skills in an informal and relaxing setting. Light refreshments and drinks will be served, and everyone is welcome from across the University and our local communities.

Tuesday 29th November at Van Mildert College: SCR Lecture.
17:30, Ustinov Room. Professor Peter Doyle will be speaking about Kitchener’s Army and the Somme.
