On Saturday 16 November we are looking forward to welcoming Boris Palmer, Major of Tübingen to Van Mildert College. Herr Palmer will be speaking about this ambition for Tübingen to become a carbon neutral city by 2030. It is a particular pleasure to be hosting this event in collaboration with Durham County Council, the University Tübingen and our very own VM Green Comm since Tübingen has long been twinned with the City of Durham.
The talk which begins at 11 am is open to all including students, staff, SCR members and the wider Durham community and we do hope that you will be able to join us. While it is not essential that you book for the talk, if you do know that you will be coming, it would be helpful to us if you could confirm this by emailing [email protected] so that we can cater appropriately.
