Helpers needed!
As in previous years the SCR will be running a barbecue on Mildert Day – to support the JCR, to provide them with a reasonably priced snack, and to raise money for a good cause. This year any profit raised will be donated to the newest JCR Outreach Project, Easington Young Carers, working to offer respite and help to parents and carers. The money is likely to be used to cover transport costs for the students involved or perhaps to provide equipment that they might use.
Would you be able to come along and help for an hour or two? Can you help set up and get barbecues going? Can you watch those burgers and flip them over when needed? Can you encourage hungry students and tempt them to part with their money? Help is needed between 11 a.m and late afternoon.
Please let Caroline know if you are able to help at any time during the day. [email protected]
Thank you!
