Principal’s Formal
Sign-up for the Principal’s Formal which will be held on Thursday 7th June, beginning with a drink reception in the Lakeside Room at 7pm, will open on Thursday 24th May at 11am. SCR members and their guests can sign-up in the usual way, using the online form available at http://www.dur.ac.uk/vm.mcr/.
Following the formal dinner Dr Catherine Fletcher of the Department of History will give a talk entitled ‘Our Men in Rome: On the trail of Henry VIII’s ambassadors’.
SCR and MCR BBQ and Beer Festival
To coincide with the JCR Beer and Cider Festival, the MCR and SCR are hosting a BBQ-style event on Friday 8th June from 6pm in the Lakeside Room. All SCR members and their guests are invited to attend. Tickets are priced at £5 and include a burger, salad and a beer or cider. Further drinks will be available to purchase on the night. If you would like to attend please email [email protected] stating your name and any guests names, along with any dietary requirements.
